REDPOLL at drinking pool. The Gairn, Ballater, Scotland.

Canon EOS 1D Mark 2, Canon 500mm UIS, plus 1.4 converter, 100 gain, WB auto, 1/400th @ F8, aperture priority, RAW image converted to a 46MB 16bit Tiff file.  Work Flow - RAW image converted to Tiff file in Canon software, opened in Photoshop with adjustments to levels, unsharp mask and cloning tool to remove one dust spot.  A1 Servo auto-focus mode used, no hide required sat quietly behind tripod.
